Elders
Dan Scarberry
Pastor Dan came to JIBC in 2000 as a youth pastor and is now a dynamic ministry lead as our Pastor. He grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age 7 as a result of a faithful Sunday school teacher’s desire to share the gospel with him. Pastor Dan attended college in South Carolina and graduated with an Accounting degree in 1989. Pastor and his wife Amy have five children and reside in Johnstown.
Andrew Fitzpatrick
Pastor Andrew was born in Erie, PA and spent much of his life growing up in a small town called North East, Pennsylvania. When Andrew was 11 years old he heard a sermon at his church that caused him to ask questions about his need for salvation. A week later, after much thought and conviction of sin he spoke to his father who explained the gospel to him. It was the first time that he ever really understood the good news of Jesus Christ. It was through this explanation that Andy gave his life to the Lord. Andy eventually pursued Seminary training at the Master’s Seminary where he graduated with a Masters of Divinity. He and his wife Cayley have four children and live in Johnstown.
Aaron Jennings
Aaron, along with his wife Carla, have been lifelong Central Ohio residents and became members of JIBC in 2010. Aaron was raised in a Christian home and from an early age believed in the Creator God. However, he did not fully understand the fact that it was impossible to secure eternal salvation outside of the Gospel until his early 20’s, when he fully placed his faith in the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Aaron has served in many roles at JIBC to include trustee, deacon, teacher, and he accepted the role of elder in 2021. Aaron graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Management in 2019. Aaron and Carla have three children and live in Centerburg.
