How to be saved
What does it mean to be saved?
It's not about going to church or even how good you are. It's not about being raised a certain way or even an emotional feeling.
Being saved is coming to repentance through acknowledging our sin against God and accepting His Son Jesus Christ as our Savior, but first we must realize these Biblical facts.
WE ARE SINNERS
"There is none righteous, no not one." - "For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:10, 22
WE ARE CONDEMNED TO DEATH BECAUSE OF OUR SIN
"For the wages of sin is death." - Romans 6:23 "Sin when it is fully grown brings forth death." - James 1:15
The Bible is clear; we are destined to be separated from God forever and spend an eternity in Hell because of our inborn sin nature, but there is good news.
GOD LOVES US
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life."

JESUS CAME TO DIE AS OUR SUBSTITUTE
"For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God."
- 2 Corinthians 5:21
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed."
- 1 Peter 2:24
JESUS HAD TO DIE FOR US TO BE FORGIVEN
"For it is the blood that makes atonement by the life."

"Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins." - Hebrews 9:22
GOD'S SIMPLE PLAN OF SALVATION
"And they said, Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household." - Acts 16:31
"For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." - Romans 10:13
"It really is that simple..."
It's hard to believe but It really is that simple...Call upon God in prayer and ask forgiveness for your sins and ask His son Jesus Christ to come into your heart. God has a plan for each of our lives to serve Him and to have a relationship with Him.
