From Columbus:
From 270 (on the northeast side of Columbus) take Route 161 east towards New Albany. Stay on 161 until you come to the Rt. 62 exit, exit here and turn left at the traffic light. Stay on Rt. 62 until you arrive in Johnstown (it is approximately 9 miles from New Albany to Johnstown). You will pass the Kroger store and McDonalds on the right, soon there after you will pass the Duke Station. Continue through the first traffic light you encounter after the Duke station and then turn left on Rt. 37 (The Marathon station will be on your left. Travel .6 of a mile on Rt.37 and the church is on the left just after passing Croton Road and the city limit sign. Total drive time from the 270 - 161 interchange is about 15 - 20 minutes.
From Newark:
Route 161 headed west is your best option. At the Alexandria/Johnstown exit (Rout 37) turn right and follow Route 37 through Alexandria and on in to Johnstown. At the intersection of Routes 62 and 37 you will find the Citgo station. Continue on Rt. 37 for 6/10's of a mile and the church is on the left just after passing Croton Road and the city limit sign.
From Utica:
Route 62 west towards Columbus is your best bet. You will enter Johnstown and the first traffic light you will come to turn right (this is route 37). Continue on Rt. 37 6/10's of a mile and the church is on the left just after passing Croton Road and the city limit sign.
From Sunbury:
Route 37 towards Johnstown. Just before you enter Johnstown you will pass a large cemetery on the right. After passing the cemetery you will see the church on the right hand side of the road. |
